Meeting Places:
Participants may meet leaders and other participants at designated locations in Greater Hartford; or they may drive directly to the trailheads. Driving directions and carpool locations are provided 7 days before your adventure.
Transportation:
We encourage carpooling to our trip destinations to save fuel and decrease congestion at trailheads. Carpool passengers are encouraged to assist with driving expenses and contribute towards fuel, toll and parking fees.
Day Trips:
Please pay in full when registering. If you cancel at least two days prior to the event date, we will gladly credit your payment to a future One Day Adventure. Each registered adult may bring one child between the ages of 10 and 16 for free on day hikes.
Major Trips:
Initial
deposit is due with your registration. Balance is due on specified date. A $100
nonrefundable processing fee is part of your deposit and is applied to your
total payment.
All trips may carry other non-refundable terms based on pre-paid contracts.
Travel Insurance:
Outdoor Adventures, LLC strongly recommends travel insurance. Information on this insurance is available by calling 860-714-7043.
Cancellations or Modifications:
All trips and portions of trips are subject to cancellation or modification due to weather, emergencies or other circumstances beyond our control. Any trip that is cancelled by Outdoor Adventures, LLC will be fully refunded.
Our best efforts are made to keep costs as advertised.
However, in this time of uncertain air fares, high fuel costs, and currency
fluctuations, any surcharges assessed to Outdoor Adventures, LLC must be
passed on to participants.
