IT’S NOT JUST A HIKE, BIKE, or SKI TRIP! It’s an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, to explore the natural world in a safe and enjoyable manner, and to meet new friends with similar interests. Adventures that are challenging or physically demanding are noted, with most of the activities doable whether you are 10 or 75!
OUR BIKE RIDES travel at 10 to 12 mph (comfortable for hybrid bikes), with leaders at the front and back of the group, and with periodic rest stops at points of interest (or ice cream!).
OUR HIKES always have leaders at the front and back of the group, so no one gets lost or left behind. They provide participants with trail descriptions and directions to meeting places upon registration.
OUR MAJOR TRIPS have been thoroughly researched by our leaders, who are supplemented by qualified local guides. We offer ‘One Stop Shopping’, with airfare, transfers and fees included. We often travel off the beaten path, where you may not meet other American tourists.
P.S. Each year, more and more people are disappointed when their trips are filled, or cancelled, prior to receipt of their registrations. Many of our programs SELL OUT QUICKLY. Past the deposit deadline, any trip that has not reached the minimum numbers required must be cancelled to avoid forfeiture of prepaid deposits. 2012 is no exception. Many of the trips require early deposits and definite responses to avoid cancellation.
